Mickey Mouse Gets Hunted Down in Upcoming New Scary Video Game

fii Who the Heck is Lucia in GTA 6 The First Chick We Can Play 6

Yo, have you heard the news? That old cartoon mouse Mickey Mouse is going to be the bad guy in a freaky new video game called Infestation 88. This game looks crazy!

So the deal is, back in the 1920s there was this old Mickey Mouse cartoon called Steamboat Willie. It was the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon ever. But now that cartoon is so old it’s something called “public domain.” What’s that mean? It means companies can use Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse in their stuff without asking Disney.

Origins of the Horror:

Because of this, some game makers got the sick idea to use Mickey as the monster in their new survival horror game! These dudes are called Nightmare Forge Games. The game they’re making is Infestation 88 and it looks wild.

Gameplay Overview: Facing Mutated Cartoon Monsters

In the game you and some homies gotta break into places that are overrun by freaky cartoon rodents. But it turns out these ain’t just regular rodents – they done mutated into straight-up monsters! It’s gonna be your job to sneak around setting traps and spying on the baddies with security cameras. And watch out – that old Mickey Mouse is running around tryna get you!

Nightmare Forge Games:

Nightmare Forge says each level of Infestation 88 has a different old cartoon character that turned into a beast. We already know Mickey Mouse is one of ’em. Just look at him in the trailer – something ain’t right with that mouse! They won’t say who the other characters are gonna be but I bet they use more old cartoons that are public domain now.

Unpredictable Horror: AI Monsters and Dynamic Gameplay

This ain’t your average extermination job. The monsters have crazy AI so they act all unpredictable. And the items you need are scattered in different places each time you play. This keeps things fresh so you can kill Mickey over and over and it’ll be diff’rent every time!

Multiplayer : Proximity Chat and Team Coordination

Now check this: Infestation 88 has multiplayer with proximity chat. This tech means you can only talk to your buds if they’re close by. So if you split up to set more traps and your friend starts freakin’ out cuz Mickey’s on their tail, you might not even hear them! Have fun tryna find their mutilated body later, ha!

They’re also gonna add more monster types, powers, achievements and all kinds of sick stuff later when the game is more finished. But even though it’s not done yet, Nightmare Forge is gonna let us play the early version soon on Steam. They say probably in the next 6 to 12 months it’ll be playable while they keep updating it.

Bruh, I can’t wait to virtually beat down that corporate icon Mickey Mouse with the homies! This game looks whack. After it comes out I don’t think I’ll ever look at that mouse the same. He wasn’t so tough in his little shorts back in the 20s. But now? That rodent is straight possessed! Time to exterminate us a mouse!

Final Words

For real though, a survival horror game starring old cartoon characters is such a crazy concept. Who woulda thought all those childhood icons could get so dark and twisted? I guess that’s what happens when old stuff becomes public domain. Companies gotta get creative if they wanna use it!

What other freaky old cartoon monsters you wanna see in Infestation 88? Or what other public domain stuff could make a scary video game? They better add other levels and monsters besides possessed Mickey Mouse. I’m just sayin’!

Either way this game looks wild. We’ll see if Nightmare Forge can deliver the scares when Infestation 88 drops on Steam. If you’re into co-op survival and want some nostalgic frights be sure to wishlist it! Until then, watch out for Mickey Mouse in your nightmares, ha!
